Before founding DRP, Brian served as an Operating Partner with ZCG Consulting (“ZCGC”), where he held the role of global real estate advisor to Z Capital and its portfolio companies. Brian effectively utilized his extensive real estate background to oversee construction, project, and facilities management. His responsibilities spanned diverse areas, including office, retail, industrial leasing, international restaurant expansion, casino renovations, and retail brand development.
Prior to his tenure at ZCGC, Mr. Cooper served as a Construction Project Executive with RXR Realty (“RXR”), managing construction management teams, leading strategic planning efforts, and overseeing budgets and finances for a portfolio encompassing five Class A buildings totaling four million square feet.
Before his time at RXR, Brian held the position of Director of Construction Services at Jones Lang Lasalle Inc. (“JLL”), where he led a dynamic PDS team responsible for strategic planning, budgeting, pre-construction, and construction management.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Cooper contributed significantly to Hines Interest Limited Partners (“Hines”), taking on diverse roles such as commercial development planning in London, construction management in New York, and property management in Greenwich and Chicago.
Adding to his professional background, Brian also served as a Leasing Specialist with Shorenstein and Zeller Realty Group in Chicago. During his time at Shorenstein, he played a pivotal role in marketing and leasing office and retail spaces at prominent locations such as The John Hancock Center, 500 Monroe, and Prudential I & II. At Zeller Realty Group, Brian assumed the role of Leasing Representative, overseeing all commercial and retail leasing at the Burnham Center.
Mr. Cooper's multifaceted experience and proven track record make him an invaluable asset in the realms of real estate and construction management.

Ensure timely submission of community approvals, permits, licenses, signage, and board approvals. Monitor and assure a competitive bid process.
Project Closure and Quality Assurance:
Facilitate project closeout, including certificate of occupancy, licenses, permit closure, and final lien waiver tracking. Review architectural and engineering drawings for design-to-budget compliance. Implement quality control and safety programs, review and resolve change orders and cost issues, and facilitate value engineering for cost reduction and improved schedules.
